"My father and I had a very conflicted relationship. He was abusive to me when I was a child, and I never really got over it. I have been belligerent to my own family, and scared that people wouldn’t love me, and it started to affect my relationship with my son. I felt like I was turning into my Dad, and that was the last thing I wanted. I decided I needed to work on it. I was expecting it to take a lot of time, but with Anne’s skills and all the different exercises and work we did, plus tapping homework, in about a month I found that my Dad and I were having a completely different type of relationship. "Anxiety hit me out of nowhere it seems. I was completely unprepared to deal with it and face issues from my past that were demanding I pay attention to them. Behavioural therapy, meditation, running, medication, hypnotherapy, and sports all helped me in the moments I felt the sheer panic of anxiety, but none of these techniques produced any long-term healing for me. One night, in a fit of panic and desperation, I found Anne’s website, called her and pretty rudely demanded that she see me immediately. She dropped what she had to do and met with me right away.
