Emotional Eating
IMAGINE…
Looking in the mirror and liking what you see.
Having healthy eating habits.
Releasing that extra, stubborn weight once and for all.
Really feeling good about yourself.
GET YOUR SABOTEUR ON YOUR SIDE!
Using a number of different therapies, including EFT, you will first clear any negative emotions you have about yourself that you even have this issue. These could include disappointment in yourself, anger at yourself, disgust, sadness, frustration, shame, how did I get here, I’m out of control…..
Clearing these emotions that aren’t the issue itself, but what I call ‘overlay emotions,’ really does clear the way to move into the next layer.
Limiting Beliefs; Do you have any limiting beliefs, beliefs about yourself or about life that are getting in the way of you achieving your goals? Limiting Beliefs in this area might include; I can’t do it, it’s too hard, everyone in my family is fat, I don’t deserve it, I might get unwanted attention, people might look at me, it’s too hard, what if I fail, and so on. Let’s clear these, and get ready to go to the next step.
Address any underlying wounds or trauma from the past; From a sensitive child just not having their needs met, to serious abuse, many of us have unresolved issues from the past that might be contributing to emotional overeating.
Cravings and Urges; Using EFT, learn how to address those cravings and urges as they arise.
If any of this resonates with you, if you want to be in balance around food and your body…call Anne.

Testimonials
"I have been obsessing about food for years. Since about Grade 4, my whole life was built around what and when to eat; I never could relax around food. I just wanted to be able to think about other things, have other things be important, have a real life. I explained all of these feelings to Anne and she understood right away. No judgement, no blame, just solutions and results. I feel much more in control of the situation. Some days I find I’ve eaten and I didn’t even really think about anything, except I was hungry and I wanted to eat whatever (foods I felt like eating). OMG! What a relief! Now I have discovered other things to work on that will take my life to the next level. A lot of it I can do myself with (the EFT) tapping, but when I need help or if it’s a big thing, I call Anne and she is always available to help me through it."

"I have a limited income, but I really needed some help. I was feeling fat, lazy, incompetent and just blah. I was smoking pot every night and then eating tons of junk food. Anne helped me zoom in on the underlying problems and we cleared them up using EFT and TLT really quickly. I have only seen her three times, but in those sessions I made so much progress and she helped me set up a tapping system for myself so I could keep progressing on my own. She is always available by phone if I need advice or a pick me up! I’m so glad I found her. Thanks."

"Since I was 11 or 12, I have felt fat and spent so much time obsessing about that. There was always pressure to be thinner, more beautiful; I was always thinking I wasn’t good enough. I dieted my whole life, but it only led to being out of shape and feeling bad about myself and food. When I look at the situation it seems ridiculous, but it took up so much of my life. Since I’ve been seeing Anne, I feel much better about myself and my body. I go for days just eating what I want without feeling bad and I can see myself as attractive. I exercise, I feel hungry, I eat. It sounds weird, but for me it’s a big deal. I highly recommend that anyone who isn’t eating and living ‘normally’ spend some time with Anne, exploring the emotional causes of some of this ‘stuff’ (as she calls it). It’s made a huge difference to my happiness and peace of mind."

"When I started seeing Anne she suggested we work on issues about my awful childhood with alcoholic parents, but I just wanted to get right to the overeating and cravings, etc.
Well, every time we started to tap on those things, we ended up looking at the family issues. Since dealing with and healing my buried emotions about some of the things that happened during my childhood, I’m finding it much easier to eat for health and sustenance. I feel normal; I’m much more in control about food and I like my body and myself much more."
